What is ChatRecs?

ChatRecs is a community platform for sharing recommendations, discussions, and discoveries. Join channels, post content, comment, and connect with others around shared interests.

Getting Started

• Sign up for an account or browse as a guest.
• Explore trending channels or search for topics.
• Join channels to participate in discussions.

Posting & Commenting

• Click "Create" to start a new post. Fill in the title, content, and select a channel.
• Use the rich text editor for formatting, links, and tables.
• Comment on posts to join the conversation. Replies are threaded.
• Upvote or downvote posts and comments to help surface the best content.

Channels

• Channels are communities focused on specific topics.
• Join or create channels to curate your feed.
• Admins can edit channel details and moderate content.

Moderation

• Report inappropriate content using the report button.
• Admins can remove posts, comments, or users that violate guidelines.

Account Management

• Update your profile, avatar, and bio in settings.
• Change your password or email address.
• Manage saved posts and followed channels.
